We're looking for an experienced, professional, and highly motivated Mobile QA Testing Specialist to test cutting-edge iOS and Android apps for Aloompa's FestApp.

We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Project Coordinator to join our testing team on a full-time basis. You’ll be focusing on Functional Testing – helping test and improve our iPhone, Android, and web applications, but are expected to contribute to the overall product and software development processes as well. This role will include features traditionally associated with both test analyst and project coordinator positions and may expand to include a wider range of test activities and QA responsibilities.
Participate in the full development lifecycle, working with product, operations, and development to build test plans, manage risk, and resolve production issues.
Be a pragmatic quality advocate. Clarify quality & risk tradeoffs and work to gain consensus.
Work closely across teams to develop the best approach for testing our functionality at scale.
Execute the initial setup of each project through the coordination of project materials in a way that ensures a successful development process.
Collaborate with account managers and and development team to create, execute, and test plans while adhering to production schedule deadlines.
Look to find ways to improve internal testing solutions as a means of reducing client feedback rounds.
Receive builds from developers and systematically test on a variety of devices to find bugs or inconsistencies in the feature set.
Replicate and communicate bugs with developers so that solutions can be coded to make apps presentable for clients.
Discern issues that are code related, system related, or client related and coordinate who needs to fix the issues.
Manage day-to-day activities of apps and is directly involved with developers on a daily basis.
Help guide a path to more automation and scalability, such as testing multiple instances in browser, generating screenshots, dealing with code signing, and releasing apps.
Ideally You Would Bring:
1-3 years experience with software testing/QA
Leadership experience (small teams or projects)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An analytical and methodical mindset with a high attention to detail
Working knowledge of mobile technologies, as well as database structures
Working knowledge of Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence)
You have the ability to thrive in a startup environment
