The Bonnaroo Brand Representatives are responsible for managing and executing the day to day of the Bonnaroo Grassroots Marketing Tour for the purpose of facilitating engagement with the Bonnaroo brand as well as building community and anticipation in advance of Bonnaroo 2019. Brand Representatives will do so by traveling between key markets, communicating with venues, setting up & breaking down events, interacting with attendees, and other various responsibilities related to executing and overseeing the logistical happenings of the tour.
They are zealous ambassadors: passionate for the brand, logistically savvy, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. They have the ability to work well with other team members to execute the grassroots marketing tour needs and day to day. They are energizing people, not only with their work but also with their work ethic and style. They are proud of their work but realize it’s not about them… It’s about “once in a lifetime, every time” moments for our guests. They are about being a part of something larger and as great as they are.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Execute day to day tour logistics, including traveling between tour markets, organization and execution of social, outdoors, and non-profit related events, engagement with attendees and fans, and poster and handbill distribution.
Work within a team to execute the day to day of the Bonnaroo Grassroots Marketing Tour
Travel by van to 3-4 key markets over 3 weeks executing activations on behalf of and as a part of the Bonnaroo Marketing Team
Advocate and champion Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival with the goal of selling tickets to the festival in each market
Communicate with venues, venue contacts, and nonprofits to ensure seamless transitions between events
Set up and break down up to three social events per week at local venues and bar establishments
Set up and break down at least one service related event with local nonprofit partners
Set up and break down at least one outdoors related promotional event at a popular outdoor retailer
Ensure the safekeeping and thoughtful usage of various promotional materials of great value during the 3 week tour
Communicate and engage with attendees, answering questions, encouraging engagement with the Bonnaroo brand and WOM marketing
Thoughtfully and intentionally integrate sponsor messaging into events
Engage in grassroots marketing tactics such as postering and flyering
Capture content for the purpose of tour promotion, sponsor inclusion, and video content creation after the fact
Engage in diligent documentation of marketing metrics related to events and deliver reports and key findings to supervisor
Available March 11 - April 8, encompassing a training period and 3 week tour of 3-4 key markets
Located in Nashville or willing to organize transport to and lodging in Nashville

Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to others.
Thorough understanding of Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, key marketing demos and ability to see visualization of brand based on vision/goals
Ability to lead projects from concept to completion
Ability to work with a team (to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments)
A valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
If operating a vehicle, must be 25 years of age or older
MUST be available March 11 - April 8
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in live events, street team, event marketing and activations
Experience in Marketing Live Entertainment, Events, Concerts, Music Festivals, etc.
Experience project managing, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and on budget
Evening/weekend work and Overnight travel will be required.
