We are looking for a Manager of Artist Marketing to be a part of our organization under their Commercial Development teams located in Hollywood, CA.
The Manager will help coordinate day-to-day partner/programmer/tastemaker pitches for streaming services/DSPs and will partner with our labels/managers/artists to develop marketing campaigns that strategize the best course to market for their releases, a role specializing in Urban Music. This role will work in tandem with various departments under the direction of the Sr. Director Commercial, and alongside the Director of Artist Marketing (Urban) with guidance from multiple EVP and SVPs up to both the President and GM respectively. The role requires both a wide-ranging skill set for working across every department at a modern label group and a unique perspective to think ahead and anticipate the needs of tomorrow today.
A life-long passion and encyclopedic knowledge of Urban music both past and present required. Must demonstrate knowledge of and internet in tastemakers and gatekeepers of the Urban Music Community and where/when to best utilize.
Must have numerous key contact/relationships across Urban landscape (Apple, Spotify, Tidal, etc. as well as radio, blogs, press, etc.)
