Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
— Calvin Coolidge

Courses Instructed

I went into college wanting to be a Theoretical Physicist and physics is still one of my great loves. However, after a discussion with an advisor that left me with the prospect of being in school until I was in my early to mid-30s, I decided an undergrad program was enough.

So I did what any sensible adult does when faced with a big life choice: bought a car, packed up what little I could fit inside it and moved 2600 miles away from home and everyone I knew. I ended up in a place where I had no friends and had never even seen my apartment with a grand scheme to make all the right moves, meet all the right people and break into the music industry and be famous!

I made very few right moves, didn't always meet the right people and I'm still not famous. I did however work harder than everyone around me and the cumulative effect made up for what I lacked in talent and resources and I've had some amazing successes and experiences.

As I've stumbled over the many hurdles that my path has thrown out I've become keen on trying to share my knowledge and help others who want a sustainable career in this crazy place we call the music industry.
